Pierre and Michel Lacocque are just 17 and 18 years old when, in 1969, they leave Belgium's mining community of Charleroi for a new life in Chicago. There, they bury their homesickness in the human warmth of the black ghetto's blues clubs. Pierre falls instantly in love with the music. He learns to play the harmonica and forms one group with his brother Michel as manager. In "Back to the roots", we follow them to Europe and back to the USA in search of their origins.
