“Comme along, gentlemen, I am a buyer of Petrofina at 700, at 702… – 2000 !” Action, intervention : open books, flashing pens, order books and tickets merge and match the tout faces, the expectant glances. In counterpoint to the professional rhythm of the Stock Exchange, the assertiveness of the figures frustrates the action, breaks across the signs and gestures of the trade; only money remains.
