A young operative is bustling round the weaving looms in a factory. Two different types of work, one craft based, the other in manufacturing. On the one hand creativity, on the other the hunthum of infernal machines. But there is a weft, machinery, identical work with yarn. Weaving is first and foremost a question of warp and weft, yarns lines crossing, going one over the other, rather like the furrows in different sections of a field. The designer is concentrating on new ideas. The factory girl is looking for the broken thread. Without the thread everything comes to a standstill, there is no weft anymore.
