"The Song of the Satellite" is a new video by the group Montfaucon Reasurch Center who in this tape continues its exploration of media practices and television rhetoric.
Joelle de la Casinière, Michel Bonnemeaison et Enrique AHRIMAN are offering a video made of footage shot in Brussels in the Eurovision Headquarters about computer graphic treatment of writing. The pictorial research material is explored with the aid of an original musical composition by Jacques LEDERLIN who has mixed recordings of Eurovision operator’smessages with electronic music and a rendering by an opera singer. This work is the first episode of a larger project, a 52 minute hommage to the memory of Marshall McLUHAN
