Polaroid animation. A framer feels framed by his living environment, from which he tries to escape.
A picture-framer feels himself to be constantly forced into a framework by his environment. Not only his work – framing reproductions of old masters – but also his life and eveyone around him are imprisoned in their respective frames (his neighbours in their windows, television and cinema actors, the photos of his family and his friends, etc.). After attempting to communicate and unite with other “framed people”, he decides to escape from his own frame (of life). But the frame from which he succeeds in escaping (which takes the form of thousands of Polaroid photos in which he evolves) is in turn situated inside another frame (that of the cinema and films). There is no way out !
