How is it possible to find the strength to think and discuss after having suffered hatred and utter violence at the hands of acquaintances, even neighbours, in one's own country?
In the face of the horrendous genocide of Tutsis in Rwanda and so that the death of a million people does not go down in history as some characteristic of African “nature”, five Tutsi and Hutu women who’ve suffered the loss of their whole family -in the massacre- speak up, bear witness and in doing so make that history unique.
