TRIO BRAVO

“TRIO BRAVO” or “the smallest big band in the world” (Fabrizzio CASSOL, saxophone, Michel MASSOT, tuba and trombone, and Michel DEBRULLE, drums) are filmed live, together with the resonating sound of contemporary European music. Not only contemporary music, but also rock, blues and jazz.
Their success lies in their extremely original sound, boldness and frenzied inspiration. The spectator follows the band on tour and witnesses the creation of a composition which closes the film. At the heart of TRIO BRAVO’s success is a “secret community” which ensures that the music leaves a lasting impression : François LOUIS, the instrument-maker, satisfies the musicians’ every wish; Willy HERREMANS, the record-dealer, fights against the decline of quality music in the face of profit margins; the collector integrates the musician into his own individual and emotional life story; the unknown amateur finds an escape through listening to a record or a concert and enters the strange no man’s land where one forgets one’s troubles and soars amongst a thousand stars and beyond.
