A topology of the work of Jean Louvet, the author, Belgian writer and Walloon whose plays form parts of experiments which are milestones on the uncertain face of contemporary theatre production.
The traits in this « portrait », unlike those in a biography, do not seek to draw a likeness to the author, but rather to his work. The electronic images, Jean Louvet’s interview and the extracts from his plays (Conversation en Wallonie, L’homme qui avait le soleil en poche), show the evolution of his work through two « character-signatures » : the proletarian and the crippled man.
