Five years ago, one of the oldest industrial buildings of Charleroi - ‘les Forges de la Providence’ - was saved from demolition being bought by two citizens : Thierry Camuy and Mika Hell. Together with some close friends and artists, they turned it into a place of alternative creation which became a symbol of renaissance and image rehabilitation for the whole region.
Each of them has a job, a career and different social origins. Each of them also has a particular motivation to invest in this project disproportionate.
Around them, gravitates a circle of friends and artists, characters with colorful personalities, strong and varied. Volunteering, they help them to organize and manage the many activities, to maintain and restore this old and majestic factory, while preserving its authenticity.
They make it a place of “passage of fire”, a place of alternative artistic creation that becomes a symbol of rebirth and image rehabilitation for a new generation.
The film is a journey that, through a group of artists, plunging into their roots, decrypts the human wealth of an entire region.
