Regina Mokrane's father comes from Kabylia and arrived in Belgium in
1922.Fifty years of his life in Belgium : the factory, WW 2, the war in Algeria, the independance, …a wife and two children. 1963 : first return to his country.982 : second journey. His daughter Regina accompanies him. The film is the story of this second journey. « I know that you are thinking about the country where the house is falling down, the house that you neither want nor can sell. The house that you want to see again, the house that we are going to see together ; the country – with all its roots – which imperceptibly and inexorably eats away at us and nourishes us… » « Achour, my father, now is the time for the journey, our journey. » (Regina Mokrane).
