For 150 years, the company Cunard maintains a sea connection between England and the United States. The Queen Elizabeth 2 made her first trip to New York on May 2, 1969.
“Between the end of the East and the end of the West, there is just one small sea”, Christopher COLOMBUS, 1492.
Five hundred years after the first crossing of the ocean, the Queen Elizabeth II is the last of the transatlantic liners. 1800 passengers and 1100 crew members board the world’s largest ship; they are bound to live close together for five days at sea. This documentary relates the events and conveys the atmosphere on board the last liner linking Europe to the America.{{'DUREE' | translate}}: 58'
