VOYAGE (LE)

He sits near the window in a compartment and reads. From time to time he watches the passing countryside and sometimes images and sounds spring to memory from elsewhere. The film recounts this journey in time and space as simply as possible, going back over certain themes tackled by the painter in earlier works (lovers’ meetings, dances, psychiatric hospital, football, and so on…).
