CHEMIN DES AIGLES (LE)

At 15 she started studying at the national center for circus arts in Châlon s/Marne, and completed her degree in december 1990. Joël is 30 years old. Ex diving and gymnastics champion, he entered the circus through the Châlon school. Very quickly he developed a passion for vaulting. Joël and Isona met on the first day of training at the Châlon school, and they have been together ever since. They’re now presenting a vaulting act together in several different circuses. They have just won a golden medal at the latest international circus festival in Paris. They’ve had to work non-stop just to do what they love : a life of incessant moving, the courage to work unremittingly to arrive at the perfection of a movement or of a technical figure, the desire to create something beautiful…
