Three Days in August 1914 is a two-part film about the memory of the German atrocities of the beginning of the Great War in Belgium.
The film Villages against oblivion, the film explores the perennial traces of the German massacres of August in several villages of Gaul in the Belgian province of Luxembourg. The memory of the killings and fires still haunts the population of two villages, Ethe and Latour. Every year, she attends the ceremonies where a hundred years later, the impunity of the killers, the refusal to recognize the facts are publicly denounced by their parish priest in his homilies. Bounces occur at the approach of the centenary of August 1914, the tone goes up … But the good surprise will come from Germany.
